This is from an original batik painting that was inspired by the famous "Old Man of the Mountains". The Old Man is a natural granite formation in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and the symbol of the Granite State to this day.

Sadly, on May 3, 2003, after several days of rainy weather, the clouds lifted from the Old Man of the Mountains to reveal that he had collapsed. I guess we always knew it would happen sometime, but it's hard to believe. If you would like a commemorative shirt of this beautiful symbol of NH, I have short sleeve and long sleeves available.

These shirts are heavyweight , 100% cotton. They come in long sleeve and short sleeve styles and are royal blue.
